Our market theme changes month to month to bring new activities, new adventures, new memories and new magic for vendors and the community.

We pride are so happy to bring a unique experience to Downtown Morehead, KY.

Thank you for your interest in being a part of The Night Market in Morehead, Kentucky! We are excited to bring together local artists, makers, small businesses, food vendors, and the community for a fun monthly evening market experience.

• Time: 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Location: On the corner of First Street and Bridge Street @ The Moonlight Stage.
• Specific event dates and updates will be announced on our website under events calendar and our Facebook page. These will always be up-to-date.
•Set up fees are $50 per vendor 10’x10′ outdoor space. Since they are outdoor spots, mostly on grass, spots may vary slightly.

•Rain or shine. All vendor fees are non-refundable. 

•Spots can not be held without payment. 

-Food trucks are $75, and in addition to all other state and local guidelines, you need a Permit to Operate in Rowan County. You can contact Megan Tackett, the environmental health representative at the Rowan County Health Department. Her number is: 606-743-5764 email: megans.tackett@ky.gov

VENDOR REQUIREMENTS
• Vendors must provide their own tent and lighting if needed. Vendors are encouraged to bring battery or solar powered lighting.
• Vendors are responsible for their own tables, displays, setup materials, and cleanup.
• Table coverings are required and should cover storage/items from public view.
• Vendors must remain respectful, family-friendly, and professional during the event
•Cell service is generally very good down town.

•All events are rain or shine! 

•All vendor fees are non-refundable 

*Bathroom access is mainly available at Fat Pattys/Sawstone. While they are open, Hot Rods has also allowed us to use their facilities, especially for elderly or disabled VENDORS. We can all use it, but PLEASE don’t take advantage of this. They’re a small shop and deserve respect. Please clean up after yourself, and be respectful. THIS IS FOR VENDORS ONLY!!! Do not suggest it to customers.

HOME-PROCESSED FOOD VENDOR REQUIREMENTS: 

If you are selling home-processed or homemade food products, you must comply with Kentucky state regulations regarding food safety.

Compliance: It is your responsibility to ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations. Failure to comply may result in removal from the event without a refund.

The Night Market reserves the right to refuse or remove any vendor whose booth, equipment, products, or conduct is determined to create an unsafe condition or violate event policies. Refunds will not be issued in such cases. 

Liability & Vendor Responsibility

Participation in The Night Market is entirely voluntary and at the vendor’s own risk.

Each vendor is solely responsible for their booth, merchandise, equipment, displays, vehicles, employees, volunteers, and any individuals assisting them during the event. Vendors are expected to operate their booths in a safe manner and to properly secure all tents, canopies, displays, and equipment throughout the duration of the event.

Children and pets must be accompanied by a legal gaurdian at all times.

The Night Market, Virginia Rose Fraley, Whitney Caudill, event staff, volunteers, sponsors, the venue, and the property owner assume no responsibility or liability for any loss, theft, damage, injury, illness, accident, or other claim arising from participation in the event. This includes, but is not limited to, incidents resulting from weather, wind, rain, acts of nature, equipment failure, fire, theft, vehicle traffic, or the actions of vendors, attendees, or other third parties.

Vendors are responsible for complying with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, permits, licenses, and health requirements related to their business and products. Vendors are encouraged to carry their own general liability and property insurance, as no insurance coverage is provided by The Night Market.

A formal Hold Harmless & Liability Agreement must be signed by each vendor (or an authorized representative) during event check-in before setup may begin.
